The state’s most innovative concepts were celebrated at the annual Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) 2021 South Australia and Northern Territory iAwards, held virtually on 30 June 2021.

The ceremony included an announcement of the South Australian Premier's iAward for Innovation in the Public Sector, recognising digital innovation and transformation within the public sector.

This award was won by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s Website Design System team for their Website Design System - part of an online accessibility ecosystem, combining accessibility.sa.gov.au and central across government support.

The approach providing agencies with an easy-to-use and cost-effective way of creating accessible government websites.

All winning entrants will now compete at the National iAwards to be held later in the year.
